A Dads Network Community Site Administrator will touch the lives of thousands of fathers in the community. You will be the key to linking dads together to form friendships and to find support as they travel (and sometimes stumble) down the road of fatherhood. It is a commitment, but the benefits far outweigh the work involved.
Not only will you be helping dads connect with each other -- you will also be instrumental in getting these dads involved in their community and making a difference in the world around them. There are so many great things that we can accomplish if we work together and set our minds on a common goal. |
We Will Support You
Make no mistake, the site administrator job will not be the easiest job you've had, but The Mommies Network will be with you all the way, working with you to establish your group and providing assistance, both financial and educational, to help your group succeed.
We'll get your site up and running (and pay for it), give you ideas for increasing membership, provide home page content and give you a framework for recruiting a support team. Both The Mommies Network team and other site admins across the country will help your site succeed.
We'll also give you access to extensive site management forums, where the site administrators and managers from both our Mommies and Dads communities share their ideas and experiences with each other, and we all work together to continually improve our Network and what it offers to our local moms and dads.
You will never be alone or lack support as you work to develop your community. |
We Will Provide an Easy to Use Site
Unlike Yahoo! Groups, MSN, Meetup and other free sites, ours our designed for discussion. Instead of receiving an email, members visit a site with multiple forums, each geared towards a specific area of interest to dads. All posts are threaded and each community member has a user id with profile including Avatar photo, location and signature. Each community also has a Gallery for sharing individual and group event photos and a Calendar for posting group events.
HTML and programming experience is not necessary to be a site administrator, but you must be computer and internet savvy. You will be fully trained in updating and maintaining your site and help will always be an email or post away.
